10 Pets Who Make More Money Than you

We all love taking pictures of our pets. For most of us though, it won’t gain us any monetary success, just a few likes from friends. But for some pet owners it brings full on fame and fortune. To the point where pet owners can quit their day jobs if they want and become full time social media managers for their furry loved ones. Or they can just sit back, relax and enjoy a lavish lifestyle from the money their pet brings in . Each of these pet influencers below have more than a million followers on instagram, which means they each get paid between $9,000-$15,000 on brand deals per post. Many of the pets below starred in tv commercials, internet ads and paid product content. A lot of the pets get paid big bucks just to show up at events. When you add it all together these pets can easily make their owners (and they do) over a million dollars per year.

In October 2014, when Pumpkin was just 1 month old, she fell out of a tree in Rosie Kemp’s backyard in the Nassau Bahamas.  Pumpkin was very weak and could not move because she had a broken leg. When it became clear to Rosie that the raccoon’s mother was not coming back, she called the local Humane Society. However, the Humane Society was unable to take the orphan raccoon in, so Rosie and her daughter Laura Young adopted her and named her Pumpkin. In the Bahamas there are no restrictions to owning a raccoon. As the years went by, Pumpkin healed up fine and got use to living with the family and their two dogs Toffee and Oreo. The family started an Instagram for Pumpkin to show off how cute she was and by October 2015, she had 77,000 followers. Today she has 1.5 million followers on Instagram. She even has her own book titled Pumpkin:The Raccoon Who Thought She Was a Dog, which is about her relationship with Oreo and Toffee.

Juniper the Fox is without a doubt the most famous fox on Instagram with almost 3 million followers. Actually that means it’s probably the most famous fox in the world. Juniper is a 3 year old tame fox that lives with her owner Jessika Coker in Florida. Tame foxes have over 4,000 genetic differences than wild foxes, which makes them not suitable for life in the wilderness. Juniper’s owner Jessika often comments about how having a pet fox isn’t like having a dog or a cat. Foxes can smell very bad so they can’t stay in the house 24/7. Their diets must consist of raw meat and bone content. Owning a fox is very different from other traditional pets. But one thing is for sure, Juniper looks great in every picture.
